2. Data Collected

With your explicit consent, we collect limited and anonymous usage data to improve the application:

Features used: Which application features you use (dhikr, journal, Quran, etc.)
Navigation: Screens visited within the application
General technical information: Device type, application version, operating system
Usage metrics: Number of sessions, usage duration (aggregated, anonymized)

3. Data NOT Collected

We NEVER collect the following data:

Journal content: Your notes, thoughts, or personal writings
Your messages: Content of your conversations with the AI assistant
Spiritual intentions: Your intentions (niyyah) or personal spiritual practices
Precise location: We do not collect your exact GPS position
Sensitive personal data: Email, name, password, or other identifying information
Personal religious content: Your dhikr practices, prayers, or other individual spiritual activities

4. Legal Basis

The collection of analytical data is based on your explicit consent (opt-in).

You must explicitly enable statistics in the application. Without your consent, no analytical data is collected.

5. Retention Period

Analytical data is retained for a maximum of 7 days locally on your device.

Expired events are automatically deleted. Data sent to our servers is retained in accordance with our retention policy (maximum 12 months).

6. Your Rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access: You can request to see all data we have collected about you
Right to deletion: You can request deletion of all your analytical data
Right to withdraw consent: You can disable statistics at any time in settings
Right to export: You can request a copy of your data in JSON format

7. Data Transfer

Analytical data is stored on secure servers via Supabase (GDPR-compliant hosting).

No data is transferred to third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

8. Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

Data encryption in transit (HTTPS)
Secure storage with Row Level Security (RLS)
No collection of personally identifiable information (PII)
Automatic anonymization of user identifiers

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The AYNA mobile application does not use cookies. We only use local device storage (AsyncStorage) for:

Saving your user preferences
Enabling offline functionality
Managing the analytics event queue (with your consent)

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy. Any modification will be communicated in the application and the update date will be changed.

By continuing to use the application after modifications, you accept the new policy.
